what do you have to do to run windows 10? is it already installed?

You have to download a 11G file and create a recovery USB key on a 16G flash drive, then upgrade the OS. This works very well, after you navigate the jungle of establishing a Lenovo account, etc.

what if we want windows 10 pro?

I have it on mine - it works fine, but it does slow it down considerably.
