I have an i9-7980XE which desperately need a good AIO cooler (I don't have time for a custom loop yet)  is the 400W+ TDP claim verifiable?  I will be overclocking my I9 after all

I have cooled a 5960x at 4.7 ghz with this cooler. Its a great cooler. However, I'd recommend thr Swiftech h220 x 2 or if it can fit, the h320 x2. Either or, get the presitge edition. I review hardware for a living and thats what I'd do.

Question 2

Where can you buy the dye for this? It says sold separately, but in the description it says customize with three different RGB colors.

so the dye is sold in a pack with the coolant , i can't include the link but if you search lepa you will find it, you can also dump the coolant in this and replace it with primo chill if you wanted, i bought two of these kits just to play with and it's not bad for what it's trying to do, but you may have more fun with a kit from EK water blocks,

If i want to change tubes, what size do i need?

9.5 mm is the inside deminsion, 12.5 mm is the outter dimension.

Sorry for the noobish question, this is my first time using a water cooled processor. I keep reading that i need a reservoir and some other stuff and that they sell all in one kits. Will this one take care of all my water cooling needs? I see that you put the water right in the box above the processor so this should do it for me right? Thanks for the help!

I recently bought one and this is my first time with it but so far so good.  The coolant it provides is water/alcohol mix for lack of a better way to describe it and the kit comes out of the box with everything you need.  The one issue I have run into is based on how my motherboard sits in the case I had to shorten the tubes (they kept crimping over with the degree of bend I needed) to allow proper fluid flow from the radiator section to the cooling plant attached to the processor.  You may have to play with that as you figure out the right positioning.

Can you change fittings and go with rigid piping?

It seemed like it wa possible, I believe it comew equipped with some compression fittings.
