Well, as Henry Ford used to say "You can have any color as long as it is black".  In other words, no, this is a monochrome printer.

Does this printer print two sided?

Yes it does,  for Lexmark printers the D at the end of a model number means its has duplex (two sided printing) built in. N for network

Is this a new printer or refurbished?

RIGHT? What a price. Mine was brand new. Great little  printer. I have a few in my network and they seem fine.

Question 5

Which way does paper get picked up from the tray? (ie. if you print on pre-printed stock like letterhead, which way do you place the paper in the main tray?

I didn't know offhand, so I made an "x" at the top of a sheet of paper and loaded it (x up and into the drawer first, so it was at the back of the drawer).  Printed an email and the "x" was at the top of the email, page 1.

How does this printer do printing envelopes?  I have a Xerox printer that scrunches envelopes on one end.  Any input on this would be great!

I have put this printer in over 20 different offices where it is being used for various printing applications. I have not had a single complaint on the device.  The manual feeder for envelopes works perfectly fine.
