Pros: very good quality image lots of cables - vga, displayport, DVI, power, audio the power supply is built into the monitor
Cons: the LG web site does not have an instruction manual for download that I can find. the power button LED turns off when the monitor is in use, which is very nice, but it constantly blinks when the monitor is not in use. Really annoying. have to press the buttons really hard, which pushes the monitor off your desk, so you have to grip the monitor bezel securely to hit the control buttons the built in speakers are amazingly quiet.. they are about as loud as a pair of headphones turned up all the way. I'm not exaggerating. You can only hear the speakers if there is no background noise in your room. What is the point? there is no headphone jack. if the monitor had louder speakers, or at least a headphone jack, that would be nice.
Overall Review: it's a really decent monitor. it comes with instructions on a CD. don't lose the CD, because, LG doesn't have instructions for download on their web site, because, well, that's corporate bureaucracy for you. I hope I don't ever have to put in a warranty claim because a company that doesn't have a simple PDF instruction file for download probably has other problems as well... 22 inches is kind of small for a 1920x1080 monitor. I have very good eyesight and I need to be right up on this monitor (within 2 feet of it) to use most of my OS and applications at their default font settings. But for the price I can't complain. it's very nice to have a high quality screen with both a DVI and a Display port connection.
