ARE THEIR ANY ISSUES WITH USING THIS MONITOR WITH HDMI CABLE INSTEAD OF DVI WHICH IT DOES NOT HAVE FOR USE ON PC NOT TV?

I use my LG Monitor as a dual screen monitor for my laptop with HDMI input.  I've had absolutely no problems in my two-month-plus usage.  My setup is 1600x900 and typically use the monitor for email (while I use other apps on my laptop) or as a document display while in a video/teleconference.  My previous setup used a 720p tv monitor and I enjoy the higher resolution (and lower power usage) of this monitor.  On my other computers I have Viewsonic, Benq and Secptre.  I like the thin profile and would likely  buy another LG as a replacement monitor.

Can I connect a mac computer?

If your Mac computer has HDMI output or VGA output then yes. Otherwise you need one of the adapters from your Mac to one of those cords. Newegg also sells those if you look.

Is the screen glossy or matte?

I would call it matte, although it is smooth enough to show a few reflections on a black screen.  In normal use, I get no reflections.

Is it possible to wall mount this unit?

Absolutely James,  The Wall Mount  is VESA Compatible (75mm x 75mm).That is the short answer, if I might add my humble opinion, I would tell you that unless your going into combat with that monitor you really don't need much to mount it, its really light. I love LG products and own a number of them, but they wanted $60+ for their "Approved" version. So while I was considering whether to cough up 60 bones or go H.A.M (Hard As MacGyver) on that monitor I came across a fairly sturdy mount at Big Lots on clearance for.....$15.00! And its a really simple install  -2 piece (screws to attach to monitor were included) I used some dry wall  anchors and when everything was done it just seemed like overkill to me..I have framed pictures that weigh more and aren't secured nearly as well. Of course my needs are basic and it is static for the most part, although taking it down is easy as well. Its a great monitor for the price and it seems like its bigger, it dwarfs my 21" .Sorry for rambling, if your still reading...  Good luck!

can i rotate it for vertical viewing?

Vetrial viewing is possible through the "change screen resolution" option. Or if you have something like amd catalyst control center, the setting can be changed in there. If you're referring to how the monitor mounts to the stand then the answer is no. You would have to mount it some other way than with the equipment provided.

It is matte and there are literally no issues with glare. Also, it is amazing picture from literally like ALL angles!! Lol I really love this monitor :)

Does it come with software disc to change the default screen settings which for most monitors seemed to be very difficult to change the locked setting like Samsung ?

No disk needed.  Settings via the buttons on the monitor are not difficult, but the descriptions of what many of the settings are is unclear.  It is a trial and error setup, but should take no more the 20 to 30 minutes one time.

Is ghosting (of fast moving objects) an issue?

I have not had any issues with this at all. I have played everything from simple graphics games like World of Warcraft to very heavy games such as Titanfall. This monitor is really great!!

What does the term "Black" in the description mean?

I am assuming it means the plastic framing and stand, this is a good monitor but when you get it make sure you adjust the settings to your liking (brightness color contrast) At first I was not impressed but a few changes and it is jut as good as my expensive monitor.
