Does the stand allow fort tilt/adjustment?

The stand allows for forward/backward tilt, but no left/right rotation or spinning. It's a very basic stand to be honest. It does have VESA mount spots though so you can always get a better one that way.

Would I be able to run this without a dedicated gpu, just an i5 6500 w/ onboard intel hd 530?

Would it look good?

It really depends on what you're doing with it. For gaming yes you will need a dedicated gpu (depending on the game) but for normal use (web surfing youtube....) no, onboard will work fine and still look good.

Does this monitor require both HDMI ports? if so can i simply use a displayport to hdmi adapter?

Sorry if I don't understand your question entirely, but:
1 HDMI port = 1 display input.
I currently have both my gaming pc and an xbox one hooked up to this monitor perfectly fine, no issues encountered yet.

You should be able to use an adapter regardless, but you will only need one cable coming to the screen from your computer/ dvd player/ xbox/ whatever, and can switch inputs at any time.

Does it have native 1920 x 1080 support (without stretching, centered with black borders on both sides)? For some specific games I wish to play at 1920 x 1080 instead of 2560 x 1080.

If I understand your question correctly yes it is able to do 1920X 1080 without stretching. I play skyrim on that display setting as that is the max resolution it will allow. The only flaw is rarely some games won't allow 2560X1080 resolution so in that case it does the stretching with the black bar borders if you try to use that resolution.I have only encountered that with one game, assassins creed black flag, I just play it at 1920X 1080. I really do love this monitor and so far I have not had a single issue.

I want to connect a DVD player and an XBOX 360 to this, will I need a converter?

This unit has two hdmi inputs.  As long as your dvd player and xbox have hdmi out you should be good to go.

VESA mounted, w/o stand, how is the display (color, temp, etc) adjusted?

There is a small joystick on the bottom edge of the display which is used to adjust the settings.  How you mount it has no effect on the joystick

Yes. Comes with a switching adapter for input voltage of 100 to 240V at 50/60 Hz. Output is 19VDC to monitor.

The bezel is different between the 56 and the 57. The is just a revision.

Im currently running SLI Strix 970 Gpu's in my system and my question is if i were to buy 3 of these monitors for my setup would i be able to even connect them all since i only have 1 Hdmi port on each Gpu... Could i use some sort of adapter or somthing... Separate question also, I thought that if you use anything less then Display port or Dual Link Dvi ports?

An external splitter is not a replacement for a GFX pipe. There may be a way to define a display as 2X width, and use an external 'box' to split the output into 2 different feeds.  Even if it is electrically possible, I would expect the performance to be sub-par, and you would likely spend more on cobbling this together than you would on a 4 head GFX card. Always remember...the right tools for the job.

Great monitor, BTW...I have two on a dual-arm stand & no way 3 would fit on my desk.
