Question 1

For those of you that have purchased this monitor, does it really go edge-to-edge for you? I got the refurbished model and mine does not. There is a 3/8 inch on left, top and right and then 1/4 inch on the bottom. So the display for me, no matter what I change, does not go edge-to-edge as advertised in the pictures.

If you turn off the monitor you will see a frame line around the screen that is built in as a defined border.  I have purchased two of these one re-certified and the other brand spankin new.  I haven't experienced what your referring two.  Of course, my VD is an NV GTX 970 w/ 4GB.  I run this off a DELL 8700 w/ Win8.1.  I don't seem to have the problem you state.  I run multiple trading charts from DJIA, FX, to SPX.  I am a resource hog when it comes to screen real estate.  Try purchasing a newer one and compare the difference.  If one works the way it supposed to over the other, return the one that doesn't work.  I believe NEG has an excellent return policy.  I have been w/ them for over 8yrs.

Can I connect this monitor to my computer using 1 HDMI and still get to 2560 by 1080p resolution?

Yes, I have mine hooked up with HDMI and running 2560x1080 resolution and it also enables you to use the built in speakers.

Does this monitor has VGA connectivity port?

The monitor does not have a VGA port. It has two HDMI ports, a Display Port, and a DVI port.

Is this monitor good for medium gaming?  since it is 14ms

I may be biased coming from a 17" gaming laptop, but I play many of the newer titles (MMO and FPS) and I have not noticed any issues. Also, if the game has settings for 21:9 it really is a step above.

Question 5

How does it look when playing PC games or other online games? Does it make a difference it is 14ms? Because LG sells another 25 monitor with widescreen but it's 5ms and costs more. Should I get this one or the newer one? Or does it matter?

My games looks great! That 5ms is most likely Gray to gray and not black to white. Totally different aspect. ;)

Movies look amazing as well. The fact you get such a rich deep black; awesome. To be honest, I think the price I purchased these at, you can't be the clarity and sharpness as well as the color representation.

The new Nvidia next gen GPUs are coming later this year and I can only imagine the improvement over my current GTX 560.

Is this monitor wall mountable.. VESA?

Yes. I have it mounted currently to a dual arm desk stand. So adding a wall mount is possible. Standard Vesa mount size.

Could you please tell me the horizontal and vertical dimensions of the screen panel (bezel not included) itself? Not the resolution, but physical dimensions in inches or centimeters. Thank you.

24x11 as it says in the specs. minus the bezel its 23 3/4 x 10 3/8. I have not powered it on yet but there appears to be an internal 1/2 on the sides and 1/4 on top and bottom. Measuring that way I get 25 inch diag
