I have Windows 7 Pro 64-bits on a Dell Latitude E5530 laptop. I cannot get the high resolution that I need. The Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel wizard says the resolution is 1920x1080?

That monitor is currently running at 1920 x 1080 on my old Dell workstation.  1920 x 1080 is the monitor's maximum resolution as stated in the specs.  Your video card must also be able to produce that resolution before your monitor can display it.  Given your comment about "Media Control Panel" it would seem your video card can support the resolution.  Now, if it's a windows box, point your mouse anywhere on the desktop (of the 27" monitor), right click and select "Screen Resolution."  That should open a a box which will let you specificallly select any of the resolutions supported by the combination of your video card and your monitor.
