best graphics card to use with this monitor?

You need a card that can support the 2560x1440 resolution.  It is far superior to 1920x1080, and needs ample power to run it.  Minimum of 1GB RAM on the card just to run it. If you're gaming no less than 2GB and you will need a card higher than mid range to get fluid fps and high graphics.
nVidia GTX 660, 760 or higher.
AMD Radeon 6870 or 7850 or higher.  
I'm running the AMD Radeon 7970 3GB to power this beast of a screen.  To game optimally on this monitor with maxed graphics settings on the latest titles, ABSOLUTELY REQUIRES high end cards.  AMD 7970 or R9 280/290, nV GTX 780 or TITAN.

I need help with the resolution of this monitor... I have connected it to Macbook pro, but... it doesnt reach its maximum resolution. It is connected with dual DVI, how do I increase the resolution?

I bought this monitor before and was advised that I should help and would be glad to.

First, you need to adjust the video setting of your graphic card to match the screen's resolution. Since you're using Mac, I'm not very much familiar with that. However, I suspect that you may have a screen resolution that is not set to Native Resolution. Try adjusting it and that should help. Good luck!
