Do you experience a lot of ghosting or motion blur on this monitor?

I've never had any issues with ghosting or motion blur.

I have 2 of these in a triple monitor setup, just be aware that at night they can be very bright, and they're not as pretty as some other displays. (have an LG IPS as my main monitor and it puts these to shame.) They're great for secondary screens though

What is the little nub-looking deal that appears to stick out of the bottom of the monitor, directly under the LG logo?  I have an over-under dual-head setup and I'm wondering if that would interfere with getting the monitors edge-to-edge.  Is it removable?

unfortunately you cannot remove that little nub. It's actually a light sensor. if you're planning to put this monitor on top of another one it will not fit flush, but it is a great monitor, recommend putting this below

Is this monitor compatible with 15" MacBook Pro?  Does it come with cord or do I need to purchase a cord to hook up to Mac?

I bought this monitor a year ago so things might have changed since then.  In response to your question, the monitor comes with a VGA cable to connect to any VGA type device.  For it to connect to your Mac, you need an adapter.  On the adapter, one end will have the VGA connector followed by a 1" cable then the plug for the Mac.  This adapter might have been included when you purchased your Mac.  In my experience, these handy dandy adapters are lost often and I can replace them easily via various on-line stores.  I hope this helps.

Is this model the same as the 27MP65HQ-P?

Does the "P" at the end matter?

Everywhere else I see the model listed as 27MP65HQ-P except for here.

The product delivered is the 27MP65HQ-P and the LG website does not show a listing for 27MP65HQ so apparently when the listing on Newegg was created the person forgot to finish the model number.

Is this a versa compliant monitor that will adapt to a monitor arm?

Will this work with a retina MacBook Pro 13" model?  And if so what connector would I need for it?

The Monitor has a VGA and HDMI inputs, so you should be able to get adapters for Mac output to either one.  I use the HDMI input and image quality is great.  I have had no problems.

Can you quickly switch between input sources if you have two computers connected, i.e., one to the VGA and the other to the HDMI input on the monitor?

Yes, there is a button just next to the power button for this explicit purpose.

The monitors on/off light, a smiling curve light, is on that bulge on the bottom. It's not removeable so sadly it's not good for over-under configuration.

Can you remove the stand when mounting?

Yes. Packs away nicely in the box it come with and has a thumb screw to mount everything. No tools needed.
I set mine up yesterday on my trade show display in under 5 minutes.
I would highly recommend this product. 5 Star.

What is the refresh rate?
Gloss or Matte screen?

Matte and 60Hz - at least that's what windows has for a max refresh rate on it.
