How wide is this Monitor? Not diagonally, I mean side to side. The full outside measurement. Thanks

End to end it's 27.6" wide. The actual screen portion is about 26.6" wide

Manufacturer lists warranty as ONE YEAR.    How come Newegg got it Wrong??    Buyer, beware.

I contacted Newegg via chat regarding the warranty question (and LG but they don't work weekends) and he forwarded the question up the chain  and said I'll have an answer in 3-5 days. I did purchase this over the weekend and will just return it if the warranty is indeed 1 year as stated on LG's site. Several sections of LG's site lists 1, 2, 3 year warranty's on monitors so it's a bit confusing as to why it's listed as 3 here and 1 on LG.

Question 4

Does this monitor have a DisplayPort 1.2 input on the back? I will be running a nvidia gtx 690 video card (3 DVI and 1 Mini DisplayPort) and trying to figure out which connection to use. Option #1 - Mini DisplayPort to Display port. Option #2 - DVI to HDMI. Thanks.

It has both HDMI and VGA (Dsub15) connectors. There is no DisplayPort or DVI.

I am using a DP to DVI then DVI to HDMI in combination until I can buy the right DP to HDMI and it is working fine with the double digital converter.

As noted there is also an 1/8" audio and an external transformer power. The VESA mounts are very low on this monitor, so if you will be multiple monitors on a display stand, also take that into account.

What is the Response time? are we looking at a 4-5 millisecond or 2-3 millisecond? it matters.

Two questions.
1.  Is there headphone jack on rear and is it controlled by power/toggle
switch?
Owners manual at LG indicates top jack as H/P but says little, as for instance,  HDMI needed obviously for headphone to work.
2. Did warranty card say 1 or 3 years? Again, at LG, spec sheet said 1.
3. Okay, 3rd question why did Newegg specs not mention headphone jack or correct warranty period?

1. My monitor has a headphone jack on the back just above the HDMI input.  The controls for the monitor are by way of a joy stick on the bottom of the monitor, also there is software control.  
2 & 3 I don't know.

Would appreciate knowing the precise screen-size dimensions in height x width EXCLUDING the bezels?

Height - 15-9/16"; Width - 27-9/16" measured from inside to inside of bezels
