Does this monitor support Yosemite? I have a 2013 MBA i7

I've read stories about issues, but it worked perfectly first time on my MacBook Pro 15" with both Thunderbolt (@60hz) and HDMI (@30hz).

However, my has discreet graphics (NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2048 MB) as well as the Intel Iris). I'm not sure if that will make a difference as your MBA only has Intel graphics.

does this monitor have a FESA mount so I can wall mount it?

You mean a VESA mount.  No, it does not have a VESA mount.  As far as I know you can only use the factory stand.  That hasn't imposed any restrictions on my use of this monitor--it works just fine on my desktop.  I modified my BOSE Companion 5 speakers to remove the stands and I place them on rubber feet just under the monitor because this puppy is too wide to place the speakers on the outer edges.  Hasn't seemed to diminish the great stereo and multi directional sound effects from the BOSE speakers.

Is this monitor good for coding/creating games? I have to use 2 monitors for production/unreal engine 4 - Will this monitor give me the same room as two monitors??

Yes and an even wider screen because of the size. The curve on it centers your vision when viewing both sides of the screen if the monitor is positioned parallel to your eye vision.  If the monitor is positioned to the left or right side of your eye vision, in other words if you have to move your head in an angle while viewing the monitor stationary, then it would be tough to view both sides of the screen. As long as if you have centered when working, this monitor is awesome when it comes to split screen and writing code mainly because of the curve. A must purchase for sure.

Can this monitor display games at UHD (3840x2160) via Displayport?

no. the physical pixels are 3440x1440.  It is super sharp but it is not capabable of 3840x2160.  Being IPS it's also better/faster than the cheap 4k monitors are available.  It's going to be a while before monitors as good as this have resolutions as high as that for a good price.

I currently have a monitor with a refresh rate @ 120 would i be downgrading my monitor by going with this monitor, which has a refresh rate @ 60?

I've never owned a monitor with a refresh over 60hz.

Right now all 4K and 21x9 monitors such as these peak at 60hz so may be a while before there is an alternative.  Or at least there wasn't one the last time I checked.

60hz allows for at least 60fps in my games and it has a really nice IPS panel.  I think the thing is gorgeous.

Is the adapter that allows the 34UC97 to connect to a VESA mount available through Newegg?

I've seen several forum posts on other sites about the adapter issue.  One user stated that the site he ordered the 34UC97 from also shipped him the adapter.  I prefer to order my tech gear from Newegg, but the monitor is useless to me if I can't put it on a VESA mount.  Hopefully, Newegg chimes in about the adapter.

I am not familiar with the new minis per se but if it has a thunderbolt port or at least a hdmi port they should work together just fine.

I've used it for gaming, running a GTX 980 and it has been excellent. I will say 2 things, it runs at 60hz and the monitor cannot be overclocked to run higher than that, I've tried. Also, many games will run at 21:9 but not all of them do so natively. I'm playing dark souls 2 and using an app called Flawless Widescreen to run it at 21:9, but Witcher 2, for instance will not run at 21:9, it runs at 16:9 with black bars at the side of the screen. Still looks amazing though. Borderlands 2 can run at 21:9 natively.  Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this monitor.
