yes, the stand adjusts up and down vertically (gotta pull a pin out-factory inserted). It also will rotate left or right with the base staying exactly where you put it. The screen may rotate vertically too.

Wondering if my little Dell Inspiron 13-5378 w/ Intel 620 GPU will have enough muscle to run this as a second monitor at best resolution?

Intel HD 620 integrated graphics is rated for resolution up to 4096x2304. Use your Dell to search "Intel HD 520 or 620 2560x1080 support" and you will most likely find many, very reputable, posts on how to set up your desired configuration. It may not be a native setting for your kit so a custom set-up may be required. Research before purchase is always wise. As for the monitor itself; it is a good value if it works in your situation!

Please check the model number LG 34UB 67 B is 29" , and  LG 34 UM67 is 34".is that typo?

From my understanding, the B signifies Business, with the major difference being the stand itself.

I have this monitor, and can confirm that it is in fact a 34" model. No issues, had it a few years.

With the stand that comes with the monitor is it possible to mount the monitor vertically?

according to the owners manual from LG's website this specific model monitor cannot be positioned vertically, but it does show in the owners manual that there is a model 29UB67 that can. But check for yourself because that owners manual from LG is for a whole host of monitors.

Anyone tried gaming on this monitor? Any screen tearing?

I've had this monitor for quite a few months now and I still love it. All I do on it is play video games. I use the display port connection to my SLI'd GTX 960's. I can't say I have noticed any tearing but if you have AMD video card(s), the monitor is FreeSync ready. Sometimes text looks like it has a colored outline but it doesn't bother me, I'm glad I bought it.

What are the bezel dimensions.  They look wide.  Is there a similar size monitor with thin bezel?

I've had mine since December and love it. I use it with a Surface Pro 3.  As to the bezel, I just measured them. The left, right, and top bezels are paper-thin, however the screen itself has a small black border.  Therefore, the left, right, and top borders are 1/2 inch. The bottom border is 3/4 of an and it is all plastic as opposed to being black on the screen. I imagine that is due to the power, and accessory buttons.

Does this monitor fully pivot into vertical/portrait mode?

I tested the stands functions and it can not be rotated sideways to assume a portrait, it only tilts about an inch or so.
It can be lifted to provide 7 1/4" of space between the stand bottom and monitor bottom but that doesn't provide enough space to screw the monitor onto the mount sideways for a fixed portrait view as it would require 16" of space between the center of the monitor and the side.
Finally the mount can rotate the monitor roughly 70 degrees to the left or right, not quite a full 90 degree rotation to offer a different mounting position should that be an idea.

Can you mount this monitor instead of using the stand?

Yes,

This monitor has the standard 4 bolt pattern that mounts to the base that comes with this monitor and you could buy a wall mount with the same 4 bolt pattern and mount on a wall. So far, this is a 5 egg monitor and no complaints from me.
