Pros: - Size - your periphery is greatly increased with UltraWide. I can see 6 more inches than most others now. - Color was great for me right out of the box - 75hz refresh rate is decent - Comes with DisplayPort cable - Menu and joystick are extremely easy to use after getting used to (took 22 seconds)
Cons: - back light bleed is bad but who cares? Never ever notice while gaming. Only see it on a black screen but who stares at black screens? - Cables are short
Overall Review: I play Battlefield and rainbow 6 a LOT and never experience any ghosting. Going from my BenQ XL2720Z and its 144Hz to the 75Hz here was noticeable but I feel that the extra real estate more than compensates and gives a better advantage. I also feel that 2k over 1k is more amazing than I thought. So glad I didn't go with the 1080p version that is much cheaper. Plus, 4k is overated now since most cards can't push it at high graphics settings. I have a Sapphire Nitro Fury and a 980ti both of which give me 80+ fps in BF1 on Ultra with this monitor.
Pros: Lightweight, GREAT color and clarity, large viewing area, easy to set up and operate, lots of input options. The USB charge option on the back is good as well.
Cons: Retail price :(
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this product, but just buy when it is on sale. It is an awesome monitor, and there are many pros to this one. I just found the retail price a little daunting, so waited for a sale (thanks, Newegg) and bought one when it was almost 50% off. Just bought a 2nd one for the office and now everyone wants one but the price is back up to almost $800 again.
Pros: Beautiful build, excellent format.
Cons: On a dark background pixels are constantly flickering on and off like stars in a night sky. This was using both the provided DisplayPort and HDMI cables as well as the highest quality DisplayPort cable that I could purchase at my own expense. For what this monitor costs along with the cost of the video card to drive it I expected this to be perfect.
Overall Review: LG service was pleasant but ultimately useless. Even though I could point out dozens of people on the Internet who had the exact same problem, LG would not provide a new monitor. Their solution was to have a non-LG technician sent to my home to replace just the IPS screen. I didn't pay this much for this monitor to essentially have a refurb one week after purchase. Unless LG comes up with a better solution I will be requesting an RMA from Newegg as soon as I return from my current business trip. UPDATE: After my Newegg RMA return, a brand-new monitor showed up a week-and-a-half later. Unfortunately while this monitor's flickering pixels were less noticeable than the original unit, they are visible. Further testing shows that the monitor exhibits flickering pixels even with all cables except for power disconnected, so this is definitely not due to my setup. At this point, the monitor is out of stock at Newegg so my only recourse is a return for refund. This is the last LG product I'll be purchasing. An important note is that Newegg was fantastic through this whole process. I have a feeling that with almost every other retailer I would be stuck with a very expensive lemon monitor.
Pros: - Colors are wonderfull - Resolutions is amazing
Cons: - A bit pricey - Wont work with old HDMI cable, which suck because the one provided is really short. Tried with another 1.4 and didn't work. Ordered a 2.0 online and have yet to receive it.
Overall Review: I'm not an expert in monitors obviously, but this is the best one I got so far. I used to have Hanns-G, Samsung, NEC, HP, Asus.
Pros: pretty much everything about it to be honestly. for how big it is. its actually very solid in terms of it just does not flex or show any indication it is.. even when cleaning it. was very surprized not to see the swirling effect on the screen short of using enough pressure to knock it over.
Cons: Monitor is almost too heavy for the height adjuster spring load and drops far too easy and has no method to lock it in place. Support is fairly non existent/under staffed and that pretty much goes for the whole LG company and the warranty is too short (make sure you buy the extension I normally dont but something like this its kinda a must) Still looking for a way to use up to 4 of these with 1 DP source. to be blunt honest my only gripe with this display is only the height adjuster and thats it....
Overall Review: Ive read other reviews and most of them are just whine....., like one guy crying cuz the monitor didnt come with a USB 3.0 cord. or another saying the monitor was crying about the display cords being too old in spec (and blames that on the monitor) when they are all nothing but user operator errors, and entitlement statements... Also there no need to cry about dead pixels out of the box its called ship it back get another one *facepalms* then kiddies crying its 75hz saying its not a gaming monitor cuz they have no clue....
Pros: - Super wide display. - Amazing for wide spreadsheets. A major efficiency increase due to not having to constantly scroll sideways to see more data. - Great for gaming. - Tons of inputs - USB ports
Cons: - Ghosts like crazy!
Overall Review: - If this monitor is being used for anything other than gaming you will get a ghosting problem in dark areas. When I first saw this I thought it was a burn in issues but the ghosting goes away after a while, so it's not a persistent issue.
Pros: - Beautiful picture quality with an IPS panel. - Very low back light bleed. - The OSD controls well. - The provided software works well for screen-splitting on a single monitor, even for windowed-mode games. - Very nice provided mount (but it cannot turn the monitor horizontally). - Good DPI for the resolution.
Cons: Possible defects, to my knowledge: - Image retention: sometimes, bright images will stay semi-visible when you switch to a darker background. I find this defect minor, as it rarely happens and it is barely noticeable. - Pixels flickering on black background: on a dark background, some pixels may randomly flicker white. I have RMA'ed my first monitor to NewEgg due to that, and now it is fine. - Patches of pixels flickering of different color. No real cons though... The monitor delivers well on everything.
Overall Review: Coming from two 1080p 21" monitors, this is a very nice upgrade. You will need a fairly beast graphics card if you want games running at max settings at that resolution, ideally the Fury X for FreeSync (the GTX 1080 would cut it out too). I'm currently using a GTX 960, and it can run games well most of the time at medium quality. Overall a great product for its price. Despite the few possible defects you can run in, I'm giving this a 5/5, as it is a great product by itself.

Pros: -Gorgeous screen -Quality Screen -Backlight Bleed exists, but is not noticeable during normal operation (gaming, productivity, etc)
Cons: -Not really a con (depending on your situation) but if you plan to adjust it often via horizontal rotation, VESA mount it
Overall Review: - If you want to be able to drive games at this resolution, make sure to have a powerful AMD (for freesync) GPU to run it at the target frame rate with decent settings. - Alternative is a super high end nvidia GPU where it'll top out at 60hz rate anyways (such as gtx 1080) - While not ideal, you can downscale game resolution to 2560x1080 and it doesn't look terrible
