Hey, John. What size of a video card do I need to support this monitor? I have an AMD Radeon HD 5570 and wasn't sure if I needed to upgrade.

Important question, check the specs on your existing machine by right on an open area of your desktop and seeing what screen resolutions are available.  You are looking for 2560x1080.  If it is not supported go to Radeon's site to see if there are upgraded drivers you can download.  My machine does not support and no upgrade is available on my older card, so I'm currently looking at a very wide, and somewhat distorted screen.  Nice monitor at a great price - just not fitting my system (yet).

My 2 seem to work great. Someday I will struggle with that DVD that makes the screen do tricks, if I can figure it out

Do the refurbished monitors work as good as the new ones ?

They work as good as new. Most people don't realize until they have it hooked up that their video card wont support the resolution it needs. Or the underestimated how big it was. Or they simply were not happy with it. Their loss is my gain !
