Dees screen have glossy finish?

Any dead or stuck pixels?

By glossy do you mean like glass? If so then no. When the monitor is off it does have a little bit of gloss to it, but not much. I'd compare it to an eggshell finish.

As far as dead pixels, I have had none so far in my few months of use. Its a pretty solid monitor.

Question 2

I have a new Macbook Pro...not the one with the retina screen. I want this to be a second monitor for it. Will this work?

Unfortunately, I don't use this monitor with a Macbook, but I would presume it would work fine.  Overall, our experience with the LG monitor has been very good.  Color, brightness, contrast, and refresh rate has is great quality.

Question 3

I purchased an AS2 Planar Dual Monitor Stand. Does the back of this monitor have the 4 drilled and threaded holes for attachment to the Planar Stand?

I took a picture of the four drilled holes. I can't be sure that they are for the planar stand, but there is four holes.

Question 4

what is the distance between the top of the monitor and the first VESA mounting hole?
I'd like to find a monitor that sits at the same height of my Asus monitor.
