is this tv able to be mounted on a wall? what would i purchase to mount it?

Danielle--nice TV.  Yes, you can wall mount it.  I bought the mount from Newegg and it's made by Rosewill.  The mount works perfectly with this TV.  I don't have a model no. for the mount, but I believe it's the only one that Rosewill makes that Newegg carries.

Does it have Audio Out RCA connectors?

Duncan,

No, the only audio output is the optical (toslink). Its component input has a set of RCA audio jacks, but those are for the input for component video. SO, in order to get the audio output from this set you would either be using the onboard speakers, or the optical out to an HT receiver, ect.

This set has an RGB input, so if your computer can convert to that, it should work.
But it can't be used directly.

Not sure but the picture is bright and the blacks look black which on a TV is desirable very happy with purchase.

No, it does NOT have a headphone jack. The only audio out is a digital pulse code via optics.
One would need to convert that to a digital-to-analogue converter to have audio.
This TV is probably not for you.

I think there is a sleep timer involved in the programing of the set.

I just purchased this tv. My question is do I have to use component to get 1080p or will HDMI work? I know it says HDMI: 1080i, Component: 1080P, but could of been a mix up.

I don't know. I used HDMI for 1080i. Just call the LG customer service number in the manual. They know all there is to know about it. Good luck.

Does anyone know the response time (input lag), or have any thoughts on the motion blur at all? Looking to use this for pc gaming, don't know how smooth the picture will be.

There is no noticeable input lag or motion blur. It's safe to consider this a PC monitor with a TV tuner on it.

Very important note: There is an option on this TV to apply labels to each HDMI input (Game, PC, DVD, Cable, etc...). Make sure you apply the "PC" label to the input you are going to be using with your computer. This will disable all of television display settings and will allow the TV to display a raw signal from your computer. Unfortunately, this is not documented anywhere - I actually discovered it on accident. The picture will look very poor if you do not apply this setting.

No it is not a smart TV, but you can certainly connect to to a PC or a Mac if you have HDMI connector. I use it on a Mac with DVI to HDMI adaptor. I bought it since it was cheap.

Question 10

This will be my first HDTV.  I'm wondering if I can hook my Harman Kardon stick speakers / sub up to the TV.  I see that there is one USB port - so wondering if they could be ran through a wireless router for the additional ports.  FYI - I don't have wireless - the router has been used to connect D-TV to my old Mac.   If not, do I have any other options other than a HT receiver??  Trying to avoid the extra cost for now.  Thanks!

The tv has a toslink digital out for connecting it to sound bars or other speakers.  This is the typical modern method for connecting speakers to televisions and other devices.

I don't really know what the connection method for your specific speakers is however or if using a router would work though.  I have a feeling it wouldn't as the tv would lack the required software to interface with the router over the USB port.  The router would be expecting a internet signal from a modem.  But I could be completely wrong on this matter as well, that is just my gut feeling.

The USB port AFAIK is for connecting a USB stick so you can view photos and stuff.
