This has a single exhaust hose that comes out of the back and goes straight up out of one of the round vent holes.  It has a window kit that connects to the unit with a long hose.

Also, after a while, the water level shut off starts coming on about once a day, which is quite annoying.  It's more than likely something wrong with the sensor or something has built up on the sensor.  When this starts happening, keep a bucket near by or connect a hose to the drainage plug on the back of the unit.  This seems to be a big problem with this particular model.

I bought an extended warranty so I might use that to have the issue resolved.  When I was using it during the summer, I had it on a small table so I could just let it drain into a bucket.

Other than that, this thing is awesome.  I purchased a refurbished model from newegg and it cools down my living, kitchen, and hall at the front door (about half the house) with no issues.  My condo is almost 1100 square feet, one level, 3rd (top) floor and my central air never kicked in.  Save about 50 bucks a month on my cooling once I had this thing up and running.

Thinking about getting another one to replace a smaller, less efficient portable ac to cool the rest of the house.
