This was my first time water cooling, I'm impressed!9/2/2020 7:35:19 PM
Pros: Easy to install
AM4 compatible
Idles my 3950x at around 40c
Cons: Price is a little higher than competition
Overall Review: Great cooler. Looks fantastic and was a breeze to install. I've been a Lian Li customer for years and the 5 year warranty sealed the deal.
Pros: Looks great, and the ability to hide the company logo is a plus as well
Works perfectly with the Gigabyte RGB software
Functions as it should - keeps my i9-10900KF nice and cool, even under very heavy loads, and it's been running for about a week now
Cons: Not easy to install - appears to be a two person job. At least, it was for me
One of the fans looks a teeny bit wobbly, though me and my partner don't think it'll be an issue
Nothing else I can think of
Overall Review: Overall, yeah I'd recommend this product. Not sure why there are negative reviews... Says a lot though that there isn't anything typed out explaining the reason behind it. One negative thing that isn't product related is that the seller took a while to ship it. But, oh well, I got it fully functioning in the end!
Pros: - high quality rgb, lots of options
- great cooling performance
- great build quality as usual from Lian Li
- pretty good fans
Cons: - not exactly a con but it can be a bit noisy at full load, but for the amount of cooling it's pulling i'm not complaining
Overall Review: took a chance on this as it launched the day I was ordering my new pc parts. being a Lian Li fan I felt confident that it would not let me down, but i'm surprised at just how good this thing is. It might just be the #1 AIO on the market currently.
Great but lacking compatibility6/12/2021 4:05:07 AM
Pros: Super easy install quality materials low temps quite
Cons: Galahad fans are not compatible at least in a RGB sense with unifan controller without there adapter pack unavailable everywhere so prepare for that if u play on using with unifan and stock Galahad fans
Overall Review: Nice aio but lacking adapters for there unifan controller which for the price is pretty sad
Pros: - Once I got the orientation figured out, it was pretty easy to install.
- RGB looks great. Several reviews say the LEDs on the pump don't work so I'll be keeping an eye on them to see if they fail.
- Noticeable drop in temps when running Cinebench R23 (Avg temp of 98C with beQuiet PureRock2 Air Cooler vs 86C with Galahad AIO).
- Silent, silent, silent. I can only hear the fans when they ramp up based on the fan curve I've set them on. During normal use, they're virtually silent.
Cons: - Kind of annoying that the holes on the radiator for the fans to screw into don't line up exactly with Lian Li's own Unifans when they're in the daisy chain config. Attached a chain of 3 Unifans in addition to the HSP ones it comes with to get a push-pull config but couldn't attach screws to all 12 anchor points as they didn't line up perfectly. Was able to get 4 in so in the end it's fine but...
- So many cables. It makes sense given that there are 3 fans and the pump needs cables too but maybe Lian Li can rig up a Unifan style Static pressure fan? Give us that daisy chain capability to reduce overall number of cables.
Overall Review: Overall, this AIO is awesome. It looks beautiful, it runs quietly, and it keeps my temps under control even when overclocking my CPU and running benchmarks. I'd recommend this AIO to anyone. I'm just really annoyed that it doesn't work line up perfectly with Lian Li's own Unifans. Seems like an oversight and it's a bit annoying but nothing that can't be overcome with some patience.
Pros: I have three other AIO's and this is the nicest one I have ever used. The cooing it gives is very good, definitely place at the top tier of AIO's. The quality is what impresses me, it is hands down one of the nicest looking cooler I have ever used. The water block is all polished aluminum and well crafted, the base is all copper and completely covers the CPU and the radiator has a elegant but professional look and the hose is very well made. Oh lets not forget the argb lighting is very nice and works with most programs.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this to anyone as long as they are not going nuclear with the over clocking. I will post a picture of my system with it on it when I complete something else that I am working on at this time.
