Does the use of two 3.5" hard drives on the lower cage render the bottom PCI slot useless? Or is there enough clearance for a short card? And if so, about how long before you "hit" the hard drive? Thanks!

Does the use of two 3.5" hard drives on the lower cage render the bottom PCI slot useless?  Or is there enough clearance for a short card?  And if so, about how long before you "hit" the hard drive?  Thanks!

There is enough clearance for a *wide* card.  I'm using a GTX 970 'g1 gaming' card by Gigabyte, and it fits just fine.
