Question 1

Can the ports be used in reverse ? For example I would like to use the CPU flow ports through the BACK where the pump is located, instead of the front. Or is it on accessible through the front, opposite of the pump?

To add onto Andrew B's answer above, the pump's intake and outtake are both located on the back of the distro plate, from the hole in the hooked bit on the bottom and the hole directly above that, respectively. Unless you take off the pump and figure out a way to attach it somewhere else, this forces you to have liquid running INTO the large, contiguous area in the middle and OUT OF the small "✓" shaped area. Past that, you can hook things up however you want.

It's not super clear in the pictures, but there are two free ports on the back that both connect to the central area. I think these are intended to be used as fill and drain ports, but if you have a way of using them differently, go for it.

Is this compatible with water blocks that are copper or nickel plated?

I would imagine so as it is only made or acrylic I have one on order to run in my system with both mono block and gpu block both nickel plated  just make sure your radiators are not aluminum is the important part not to use them with copper cooling components. Don’t mix the two metals in your loop

Is it possible to use 25mm thick fittings ? Because the holes for the CPU are so tight together.

Barely, if at all. I am using 24mm Primochill fittings with mine and the two CPU fittings rub together slightly. An extra mm might be too much.

Don't worry over it too much though because it isn't a great product, I'd just go with a regular res/pump solution if I did it over.

Could I specify the type of DDC pump I would like to use at purchase?

No, it comes with the 3.1.  You can always swap it out with a newer model.

Question 6

Does this have an extra port on it for draining? Or would I still need to install a drain valve somewhere in the loop

There is a port in the rear right by the pump to place a ball valve. But I had to take off the pump and add a Male to Male extender to be able to fit it in place.

Given the dimensions, could I install the EKWB D5 pump in this instead of the DDC pump?

I don't think so, the best you can do to get more flow is to get a 3.2 ddc. Perhaps EK might have a better answer.

Can this be installed in the front panel of the O11D? If so, how?

This plate is 35x13 cm, the front penal if the case is 42x21 cm. So you could theoretically mount it against the glass panel if you really wanted with some glue or double sided tape, but it's not a replacement for the full panel.

would this work with 2 distro plates the front and this one?

Yes you could do that.. Just have to get creative with your tubing. It would allow you to run two loops in your system. one for your cpu and one for your gpu if desired. But this one plate can also handle 2 rads.
