For robust protection from 500-10,000VA, the Emerson Liebert GXT4 UPS models provide industry leading features in a compact design. The Liebert GXT4 1500VA (model # GXT4-1500RT230) is a true online uninterruptible power system (UPS). It delivers continuous, high-quality AC power to IT equipment with no break, even when the mains fail. It is built with TVSS and EMI/RFI filter, and confidently protects all connected equipment from virtually all power disturbances and damages. There is no need to worry about blackouts, surges or noise interference etc. The input circuit breaker provides increased protection to ease recovery from overloads.
The Liebert GXT4-1500RT230 is easy to control and manage. You can control power to multiple devices via two independently programmable pair of outlets. The large rotating LCD display allows for user-friendly operation, and local monitoring and configuration of operational parameters. Thanks to the Liebert MultiLink software and a variety of communication options, it’s network-ready. This means you can remotely manage the UPS. Plus, this compact unit can be installed either in a rack or tower configuration. Rack mount rail kit and internal batteries are included.

Continuous Power SupplyIn normal operation, the GXT4-1500RT230’s inverter utilizes the DC output of the PFC circuit to produce precise, regulated sine wave AC power. When mains power fails, the inverter receives DC power from the battery through the DC-to DC converter. In either operation mode, the UPS inverter is online, continuously generating clean, precise, regulated AC output power.
Dynamic BypassThe GXT4-1500RT230 provides an alternate path for mains power to the connected loads in the unlikely event of a UPS malfunction. Once the UPS have an overload, overtemperature or any other UPS failure condition, the UPS automatically transfers the connected load to bypass.
Superior Power ProtectionThe GXT4-1500RT230 has surge protection and filters that protect the connected load from power surges and sags, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). These features can minimize any surges or interference present in the mains power. The filters also prevent surges or interference generated by the UPS from adversely affecting other devices connected on the same branch as the UPS.
Intelligent-ready NetworkingWith the built-in Liebert MultiLink software, the GXT4-1500RT230 offers flexible network management. It has an array of communication options – a USB port, a Liebert IntelliSlot port, a RS232 port, and dry contacts, and offers a Web/SNMP communications card. This enables users to easily connect it to multiple networked computers, and manage the UPS remotely across the network.
Replaceable and Hot-swappable BatteriesThe GXT4-1500RT230 utilizes valve-regulated, nonspillable, lead acid batteries. The battery charger utilizes energy from the mains power and precisely regulates it to continuously float charge the batteries. The batteries are being charged whenever the UPS is plugged in, even when the UPS is not turned On. Better yet, the hot-swap capability ensures continuous operation of the load even when the batteries are being replaced. Plus, the optional external battery cabinets are available to extend battery run times.
Intelligent Fan OperationThe built-in intelligent fan is able to automatically change rotation speed depending on system requirements, to decrease power consumption and noise. Also, it boasts the fan fault self-inspection and automated diagnostic function.
