Pros: Works with my high-efficiency power supply. The cheaper square-wave units sometimes have trouble with this. This one on the other hand has a stepped sine-wave approximation, so works well.
Supported by NUT on Linux.
Cons: USB connection is flaky and periodically drops and reconnects. This is common with other manufacturers' UPS too though.
Pros: Lots of outlets, including a few with just surge protection. USB based monitoring (better than serial port for new computers). Monitoring software working OK on older Windows server, have not tried on WIn7 or newer WinServer editions. No hassle for my warranty replacement.
Cons: I've had three of these units. First one died in about 1.5 years, and was replaced under warranty. Second one died in just under 2 years. Third one is running three years without issue.
Battery is not easy to access, and requires removing screws (some not documented properly at bottom of front cover) and pulling chassis apart. Would much prefer an simple access door.
Overall Review: UI is weak. Just some LED status lights, but no visible display of battery charge, time remaining, or load. Can't find replacement batteries direct from manufacturer, but they look to be similar to others in industry.
Pros: It's a easy to setup as it didn't require connecting the battery.
Cons: The software for the unit it really old, and even the version on their website is really old. No mention of even Windows 7. I expected more from a vendor like Leibert.
