how is the shielding ? last 15 ft cable i bought was/is horrible! everytime my receiver turns on or my AC kicks on the magnetic field cuts the signal out and i have to reset the tv or pc its connected too.

Newegg asked me to respond to this question.  We bought an HDMI cable, I assume this is the one we bought or Newegg would not have asked me about this specific item. We have this cable connected from our Blu-ray player to our flat screen TV.  It has been terrific for us.  We never get outside interference when a Blu-ray or DVD disk is playing.  No glitches of any kind, even when low-flying planes or jets pass by, or vehicles on the street.  No neighbor has ever complained that they were picking up a movie from somewhere and they did not know why or where it was coming from.  Cable apparently is shielded well.
