Does this router offer remote management?

Yes it does offer remote management.  You have to enable it under the Administration tab.  Then you have to open the web address to the public side usually with port 8080 from the outside.  The syntax is "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080"  The "x" represents the IP address.

How can I connect an external drive to the USB3 port and communicate with it? (Not very experienced user...)

There is a USB port on the back of the router next to the power plug.  I believe you can configure the port through the web based interface.

Does the EA 6300 need to be set up with a CD?

The short answer: No, you don't use any sort of Compact Disc (CD) for setup of the router. The long answer is: Router configuration is "built into" the router's firmware. Changing the firmware ie: logon password is accessible through a web browser on the computer that's attached to the router. Instructions to make firmware changes are included when you buy it.

I need to be able to monitor individual device data usage (only care about volume at this point). Are the capabilities listed regarding accessibility controls going to give transparency into the amount of data being sent/received by each device that is connected?

The native web interface is nice, but I haven't found any functionality that lists data usage, only the connected devices.

I don't know about extender, but it gives me the range in my home to reach every where I need WIFI I have a 4 bedroom home

I would like to know how is this router compared to Belkin N750 AC DB?

I had some issue with Belkin and on its replacement I was given Linksys EA6300. I tried checking for comparative review but could not find any.

Beaware!
DD-WRT people have gave up on this router.  Also the internal antenna has terrible range.
If you can, spend some more for external antenna version of routers or you will see yourself modding this router with external antennas for better range.

Question 8

What does "N300 Dual Band" mean?
Is this that 150Mbit in 2.4GHz + 150Mbit in 5GHz?

So when my device supports only 2.4GHz I'll get only 150Mbit.
Is it correct?

They share their bandwidth, hence why even though the 5GHz is stronger its still slow due to its shared connection.

I removed this from my network after a few weeks after I realized I couldn't make it my secondary Wireless Access Point (WAP) and I couldn't flash it with DDW-RT.  The UI is extremely restrictive and does not allow for easy manual set up.  This is a device you give your parents to set up with out you and it's designed to be the main point of access.
