There are two units to a kit: one that is meant for install near your wired internet access unit (modem/router) and the other that is used to plug into the wall near your intended PC. This kit is meant to support one PC that cannot otherwise connect to the network easily.

Can this PLEK400 work with PLSK400?

I've read some powerline adapters can even work with other brands, but to be sure Google for other users' experience with that particular setup.

If I have two pairs of the PLSK200 running on the same power lines would I be able to have two (senders)  of the remote units connect into just the one unit that's connected to the router (receiver). Thus you'd only be using 3 pieces of what would normally be a 4 piece operation.  Essentially you have the remotes that your various items such as game or bluray or dvr etc would all be connected to their various sending units and at the router instead of having a receiver for each sender you could only have one receiver catching all the senders signals? That make sense? Thanks you

It's my understanding that they can only be used in pairs, with each pair creating a network bridge. If you had 1 transmitter and 2 receivers, I'm not sure how it would resolve routing.

Im having trouble getting a wifi signal in my metal shop. Will this product work through my electrical lines?

This should do the job for you. The only thing to be careful of is that both units need to be on the same leg of the power circuits. If at first they don't show a connection try another outlet. I had to try a few in my installation but it then worked fine.
