It connects to it's own ballast, the ballast uses a standard old MOLEX fat 4-pin connector, and has 2 oulputs, but one is blocked, use only one tube per ballast it comes with, as they have 2 ports but only enough to support one stick, they look cool.

Are there versions with other colors like red or green?

I've seen red and green. I found the green one here: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16800888036 I haven't seen the red one lately, but it seems it was on NewEgg when I ordered my blue one.

Hi. For some reason, my light is very dim and it barely gives off any light at all. I even went ahead and got myself a second one to see if it was the problem with that one unit, but the new one is also very dim. I'm reading the reviews and it sounds like something is off because they say it's very bright...any ideas on what I can do to make my light actually bright? Thanks.

If you are having dim issues I would guess you are having problem giving it the power it needs or cable issue
