I want to put this in my case to light it up. Will it light up my room though? I keep my computer in my bedroom and want a light to accent my computer without lighting up my bedroom.

That would really depend on your case. If you have a huge window on the side it probably will light up most of the room. It also depends on where in the case you put it of course. The light is decently bright, so my guess is as long as you don't have a case completely made of glass and use some clever placement you should be good.

Does this item as any other size's?

This specific one only comes in this size but, regular cathodes come in different sizes and colors.

Can this be installed without the front slot switch? My case has no slots.

By front slot im gong to guess your talking about the back expansion slot where the on and off button goes for the cathode and yes you can put this in your case without having to install that you just have to put the switch where you can reach it or have to open your case every time you go to turn it on

Are these exactly 300mm in length?

I have gotten some cathodes from another site which were not exactly the length, and were too large for my very small case.
