I have purchased three of these cameras all of which were refurbished. They all came in there original boxes but the inside packaging was replaced and they were set back to factory defaults. I gave them to my parents and my in-laws so that we can Skype easily. They come with the remote and with HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronic Control) enabled on your TV, if you hit any button on your remote it will turn on you television and change the HDMI input the camera is on. Your LG 39LN5700 is HDMI-CEC compatible so as long as you have an open HDMI interface it should run fine. I have mine connected via WiFi (802.11n 2.4GHz WPA2-AES) and haven't had any network issues. Wired works as well.
