The camera suppoosedly has "advanced light correction", but I see no light source when the camera is on. I tried turning out all the room lights and still don't see a light. What am I missing?

There is no light source (except for the somewhat retro green 'camera on' LED which is a step backwards from the previous soft blue halo Logitech used). The light correction refers to an improved white-balance algorithm which can better correct color in low-light conditions in-camera.

If you have the room lighting (ie a bright window) behind you then you would be advised to light your face using a light bar above your monitor. But, this camera performs better than many in even those adverse conditions.
