Can it swivel from side to side on its mount? (Without moving the mount itself)

No.  It does have a screw mount though, so you can attach it to a tripod which would allow it to swivel.

Does C920S use USB 2.0 or 3.0?

This unit as well as the rest of the model line default to USB 2.0. However if your computer supports USB 3.0 with power DC support  then this unit will work USB 3.0 just fine.

The product description says no privacy shutter, but all the pictures clearly show one on the unit; which is it?

Mine arrived with a privacy shutter in the box. Nothing complicated about it, just a piece of plastic you can manually turn down to block the lens. It is possible they would remove that to improve margin but it can't cost but pennies so that would be odd.

Yes, I use it all the time with Zoom and it works very well.

It is not.  Does not have infrared needed for Windows Hello.

Yes, I use it all the time for that.
Audio and Video is good. You have to start the Logitech Capture software first if you want to adjust the picture size/quality.

How does this item connect to the PC?

It plugs into a USB port. You will also need to install the Logitech Capture software for it to be used. Once I installed the software then I could use it on conferencing programs (Skype, Zoom JoinMe, etc).

Do the built-in microphones pick up the sound from the computer speakers and then send that sound back to the talker?

That is more of a question on how loud your speakers are, and if there is a wall directly behind you to reflect the sound. I have zero problems with it but under bad conditions any microphone will have similar issues.
