Logitech X-230 32 Watts 2.1 Black Speakers

Pros: Fast shipping, well packaged, excellent ordering experience. The speakers are perfect at all ranges and the volume ranges is good as well.

Cons: None, the sub-knob has be commented on by many reviews, but it isn't a annoyance at all.

Overall Review: Excellent product that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good quality sound system. I really happy that I order from newegg as it has been one of my best online purchase experience. The sound from these speakers can fill any reasonable size room. The speakers do not move around at high volumes and the wall mounts are very easy to use.

Pros: Bass THUMPS, speakers sound fine, cheap, and the egg got it to me in less than 24 hours after I ordered! (standard shipping, no rush processing) Now THAT'S service!

Cons: Obviosuly, it's not going to be the best sound quality, but you get what you pay for (generally) and they still sound great.

Overall Review: Bought these just for a basement pc to play music through while I lift weights. Totally met my expectations. If you are looking for a cheap 2.1 system that still sounds good, get these, you won't find a better deal.

Pros: 8 years and still kicking! This is the longest lasting computer component I have ever owned. It has great sound, decent looks, sturdy design, and small footprint.

Cons: Makes a noise when turned off. In a perfectly quiet room you can hear 2 VERY quiet, what sounds like, knocks. I unplugged the speakers and the noise stopped. Doesn't really bother me.

Overall Review: I will only buy Logitech speakers for the rest of my life because of these speakers.

Pros: Great sound for the price. Power doesn't need to be on to use the headphone jack. Separate control on the sub woofer controls bass level. Single serial cable reduces clutter. Speakers and sub woofer have a small footprint, perfect for a dorm or student apartment set up.

Cons: Cardboard tube inside of the sub woofer fell out the first week. I managed to pull it back into place, but now it needs tape to be kept in place.

Overall Review: I bought these when I started college a few years ago because I was sick of my roommate's music overpowering my laptop's built in speakers. They still work as well as the day I bought them. I keep the bass turned all the way down so it doesn't rattle the floor (I have downstairs neighbors) and it still delivers a decent amount of kick.

Pros: I wasn't playing computer games as much anymore so I moved my Z-680s to the living room and picked these up to listen to music. The sound was fantastic so I got a second set for the wife's computer. Simply put, for 40 bucks what do you expect? These are GREAT.

Cons: Tube was detached in the second set as other reviews have said. I was able to pull it back in place though, no worries. Bass is a bit much but now I can drown out those noisy a-holes in the apartment above me.

Overall Review: I've owned lots of Logitech products and aside from the bluetooth headphones that broke, have never had a problem. Great brand, great quality.

Pros: Price is great for the quality of these 2.1 speakers. I got free shipping, too! Really nice sound.

Cons: The "cardboard" port tube was dislodged and rattling around inside of the subwoofer enclosure when shipped to me. I had to remove the speaker from the cabinet to reinstall the port tube.

Overall Review: The tube may have fallen out due to severely rough shippng. My speakers showed up to the door in their retail box only, and the top center of the box was completely crushed. UPS delivery just looked sheepishly at me when they handed them over. What else can you expect from "brown"? Luckily no damage other that the port being dislodged came from it.

Pros: Very clear, crisp sound. All across the spectrum, these speakers perform well. In a price/performance ratio, these speakers are close to the top. If you want a big sound and a small price, these might be your set.

Cons: Does not have an external volume control like some speaker sets now 'days. If you place your speakers in a place not reachable from your desk chair, you'll have to get up every time you want to change the volume of the speakers. Very minor thought, though. And this is only a problem if you are lazy, like me. :)

Overall Review: Some people claim this speaker set has WAY TOO MUCH BASS. I don't really think it is a problem. Sub woofer has a balanced sound with satellites. Some complained they weren't able to shut the sub off. If they didn't want a sub, why did they buy a 2.1 system??? Some of the bad reviews are from bad purchasing, not bad products.
