With its brushed aluminum faces and wood grain styling, the Logitech Z-3 speaker system will dress up any workspace, whether it's in your home office, bedroom, or living room. The only thing that's more impressive than the Z-3's great looks is its sound quality. Its two phase plug satellite speakers, which feature removable grilles and durable cast metal stands, deliver crystal clear, room-filling music, dialogue, and sound effects. And thanks to its patented, award-winning pressure driver subwoofer technology, you'll hear all the bass you expect-and depending on how loud you turn up the subwoofer, you'll feel all the bass, too.
Pros: These are a great set of speakers. I had these before i had got my x-530. I would recommend these for music listeners.
Cons: Short cables.
Overall Review: I would get these for music only, they just dont have the sound that a 5.1 or 7.1 has when it comes to games. I would recommend the x-530's over these anyday, these are more expensive, and a lower power rating.
Pros: not good for party, but loud enough to get complains from neighbours.clear, crispy sound.cool design, volume control, headphones jack.low price-high quality.
Cons: for this money,no complain...
Pros: Clear sound, deep bass can get extremely loud. I'm pretty scared to turn these all the way up in fear of my eardrums exploding. Overall wonderful sound, even at high levels. The splitter for red and white audio cables is a great bonus.
Cons: The aluminum finishing got cracked/scratched a little bit. That's cause I hauled it around, so I guess it makes sense.
Overall Review: The LED might be a little too bright, but I don't think it's too bad compared to Logitech's other products. I still don't understand how Logitech always puts out such amazing products, so props to them. You won't be disspointed with these speakers
Pros: Crisp & Deep on the Base side
Cons: Shipping
Overall Review: I will not order from Newegg.com again. Why ? I paid $xx for 3 day shipping and it took 5 days for Newegg.com to get the product to ne. I never got a letter of explation from them. They do not give you what you paid for. 3 day shipping is not 5 day shipping and if that is going to be the case , I then should be refunded my money for the shipping that I did not get in the time frame that Newegg.com promised.
Comments: I m no expert in sound, but this is a good speaker for me. I got this for 8 months and still fine. I modiied the color and repaint with black to match my monitor and pc. Good buy
Comments: I have been a MP3 audiophile back when SoundBlaster had 128 voices and Boston Acoustics where the only ones to offer a bass speaker for the PC. My song list is about 500+ and this is the most robust speakers that I have used for my MP3s. But remember that your sound card SW and MS OS will automatically “enhance” average speakers. But these speakers don’t need any altering, play it unfiltered (unequalized) or make little adjustments with your EQ or it will become distorted. ENJOY!!
Comments: Very rich highs and mids and balanced bass. Just remember that if the sub doesn't sound good at first, try moving it to a different place.

Pros: - Mainteance free, still look amazing.
- Still sounding amazing, still too loud for any roomates.
Cons: - Cord that connects subwoofer will eventually fail.
- LED on volume controls is still very bright.
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend these if you see them laying around somewhere. They've probably been discontinued for a while, but I would buy them all over again if they were still in production.
I've been using these speakers since 2005, they've been through the military, college, and a few moves across country. Can't say enough about them.
I'm finally going to have to upgrade these as the cable that connects the subwoofer is starting to be real finicky from 12 years of being up against a wall. I've turned the sub away from the wall so it doesnt contact and it still works great until I tap the cable with my foot accidentally.
