Why does the motion sensor not work sometimes?
This usually happens when the surrounding area is too bright. The motion sensor is designed to activate only in dark environments (ambient light below 10 lux) to save energy.
Why does the light stay on constantly?
The PIR sensor detects heat signatures. The light may stay on if it's placed near active heat sources, such as heating vents, air conditioners, or direct sunlight. Moving it away from these areas usually solves the issue.
Why is the motion detection not sensitive enough?
This can occur due to three main reasons: 1. Interference from nearby heat sources. 2. A dirty or blocked sensor dome (a quick wipe helps!). 3. Moving outside the optimal detection range (up to 16ft/150°).
Why does the light blink occasionally?
Blinking occurs in two situations: First, as a built-in alert when you've adjusted the brightness to its maximum or minimum level. Second, it serves as a low-battery warning—simply fully charge it to resolve.
What if the light is too bright or too dim for my room?
All Lyridz smart night lights feature a stepless dimming function! Simply locate the brightness control button (usually on the side) and adjust it until you find the perfect, comfortable glow for your space.
