M-Audio's FireWire 410 audio/MIDI interface has all the features you need to help you create, produce and playback your personal recording sessions—all in a compact, FireWire-powered package. The 410 features four inputs and 10 outputs complete with preamps for 48dB gain for instruments like guitar and bass and up to 66dB gain for microphones.

Eight, one-fourth-inch outputs and ASIO 2-compliant software-controlled routing and mixing allow you to send individual signals to separate channels on an external mixer or directly drive the components of a surround sound system. Any output pair can also produce high-definition 24-bit/192kHz signals for high-end audio formats like DVD-Audio. There are single digital S/PDIF input and output jacks as well, so you can transfer to and from digital devices such as CD players, DATs and MiniDisc systems at sample rates of 44.1kHz, 48kHz or 96kHz.

Two headphone outs with independent level controls let you easily compose, record and mix with a partner. And of course there's a built-in MIDI interface. A bypass switch allows throughput from MIDI In to MIDI Out so your equipment stays connected even when your computer is off or you're working on other non-music tasks.Don't want to touch your mouse for every little adjustment?
