Have a computer without IDE, have an IDE drive that I want to boot with.  Will this work?

I installed card and then connected IDE hard drive. Computer recognizes the IDE drive as Drive "F" (drive F for me as I have several other devices connected) I am able to access all folder on the drive.

While I have not tried to boot from this drive, it should work. Don't forget to go into BIOS to change boot drive to "F"

Will this work with an internal Zip250 ATAPI drive and a BioStar TA970 MB purchased from you, BIOS set to Legacy?? Linux Slackware 14.1..
