A: It will seal but not cut. It seals bags perfectly and I use it all the time to seal bags of chips.
Q: Can it seal the HarvestRight bags for freeze drying?
A: Yes, you just have to find the right setting it can’t be too high of a setting.
Q: Do I need to warm up before using this sealing machine?
A: No warm-up needed, just plug and use. Adjustable heating modes to ensure consistent airtight seals. The heating element only heats when pressed close and automatically turns off according to the set mode, safe for everyone
Q: Can you seal bubble ballons with this?
A: METRONIC bag sealer can seal plastic bags that store different products.This sealing machine is a perfect seal for Kel-F, Mylar, Polyflex, P.V.A., Pliofilm, Tivac, Saran and all other heat-sealable bags.
Precautions for Using the Sealing Machine:
1.Before use, check that the sealing machine's adjustment dial, sealing components and power cord are not damaged or loose;
2.Make sure that the plug is securely connected and does not become loose during use. The applicable voltage is 110-120 V.
3.While operating the sealing machine, check the status of the indicator lights. A green light indicates a normal power supply (standby mode). A red light indicates that the sealing is heating up (operating mode).
4.Initial setup requires debugging and adjusting to the appropriate setting. During continuous operation, residual heat may cause melting through; manually reduce the setting slightly when this occurs.
5.Before and during use, check the high-temperature cloth for any burn-throughs or melted adhesive residue. If either of these are present, clean or replace the cloth first.
Simple Troubleshooting/Resolution:
If the device does not work:
1.Check that the plug and socket are securely connected.
2.Check that the indicator light is working properly. If it does not illuminate, check that the fuse has not blown.
3.The indicator light is green. However, pressing the handle fails to activate the red light. Check to see if you can hear a 'click' when you press the handle. If not, open the bottom cover and use pliers to adjust the shape of the pressure plate.
After using it for a while, it stops working:
1.Check the status of the indicator light and see if the fuse has blown.
2.Check for a burnt-out heating element.
Uneven sealing:
1.Readjust the heating setting.
2.Replace the heating element and the high-temperature cloth.
