if I currently have Norton antivirus will this be as good, is it compatible?

I used to have Norton and decided to try Mcafee. 
I'm not that happy with the switch. Although Mcafee is doing its job ok, I don't like the way it does it. The menu is not as intuitive to work with. 
Mcafee also decided that some emails on my Windows Mail were spam even though that was not the case, and I could not unblock them. 
I also think the program slows down my computer quite a bit. 
When my subscription runs out I will switch back to Norton.

I bought this product and realized that this product is only license key. Where can I download the Antivirus setup application? Please help. Without the application this is worthless.

Once you receive the product from Newegg, open the package to reveal the plastic card containing the key code and simply follow the 4 steps listed under the "Quick Start Guide" and "Product Installation" to activate the 3 PCs license.  Actual download of the s/w onto the target PC will be done from the McAfee website once activation is complete.  Download of the s/w for the other 2 PC's will be done from either your existing or newly created McAfee account.

It is horrible. It came only registration card (with product key ), NOT a CD. After following all instruction to download this software with this product key. Mcafee website said "This product key is not associated with the country and language that you selected. Please select the country and language of the product that you purchased." Total lost. Beware. Will waste time to call Macafee.

You can use it on 3 computers.  You need to register each system on mcafee dot com; I assume it won't let you register the 4th system.

1 year period on 3 systems at the same time only.
Period starts for all 3 when first system is activated.
So you only have one year from the first activation.

The card has a URL to McAfee for the download + a serial # that associates in your account and lets you assign out your 3 PCs.

Yes, if you look in the product overview, it mentions that it will work with Windows XP as long as it's running Service Pack 3.
