Must the software be activated immediately?  My current McAfee software has another 10 months remaining and I don't need the new subscription until the current one expires.

Accepted Answer

I believe that the subscription period starts upon the first activation and not until then. But when the installation on the first device is complete, the remaining devices' subscriptions start as well.
