It is the warning of Dry-boil, there is not enough water in the kettle, please fill in cold water and restart the kettle.
Is the kettle body made of glass or plastic?
It is made of borosilicate glass, not plastic, you can burn the kettle body with fire to test if it is plastic, and using a knife to cut on the surface, no scratch will left. Children Must Not Try For Safety Concerns.
Why my kettle heats water to 212°F, but the water temp is lower actually, is the kettle temperature control inaccurate?
In areas of higher altitude, water boils at a lower temp. eg. at an altitude of 20,000 ft, water can be heated to a maximum temp of 176°F. When the set temp can't be reached, the kettle will change the temp to end boiling in case of causing dangers.
The Start button light remains on, how to turn it off?
The Start/Cancel button light is a reminder of being powered. To turn it off, please do not press the button for 3 seconds, it will be turned off when the kettle is turned on, no operation snf not working for 10 minutes
