Overview and Features
The JTECH-AE4KA 4K HDMI audio extractor converts HDMI to RCA and Optical, allowing you to extract audio from HDMI signals. It sends audio to external systems via Optical and/or RCA outputs, while transmitting video to your display via HDMI. With HDMI-ARC support, you can also extract audio directly from the display via Optical. It supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) and offers 3 EDID modes for optimal audio decoding based on your setup. Note that HDMI-ARC extracts audio only through Optical, not RCA. For simultaneous audio from both outputs, set the incoming format to Stereo.
Please note: This HDMI audio extractor supports 4K@60Hz (4:2:0 and 4K@30Hz (4:4:4). If your source device does not output 4K@60 (4:2:0), then lower the resolution 4K@30Hz or 1080P for the extractor to properly process the signal. Compatible with HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.4 standards. This HDMI extractor does not downmix 5.1Ch audio to be output via RCA. Ensure that your source device is outputting the correct audio format based on the audio output that is being used.
