HOW IT WORKS This isnt a wooden board wrapped in fabric. THe Meliusly Bunkie Board Original uses 10mm twin-wall polypropylene construction a lightweight, rigid material that wont warp, crack, splinter, or absorb moisture the way wood does. At just 0.4 inches thick, it slides between your mattress and bed slats without adding noticeable height or showing beneath the sheets. The industrial-grade Oxford fabric covering reduces friction and eliminates the creaking noise that wooden boards produce when they rub against bed slats or metal frames. The silicone honeycomb grip finish on the bottom keeps the board locked in place no shifting, no sliding, no readjusting. WHO THIS IS FOR This bunkie board is designed for any bed frame with slats or bars spaced up to 8 inches apart (up to 10 inches for our Heavy Duty version). It works with all mattress types: memory foam, latex, hybrid, and innerspring. IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE: This board is NOT a replacement for bed slats or a box spring. It must sit on top of an existing slat or bar foundation. The Original version supports slat spacing up to 8 inches; the Heavy Duty version supports up to 10 inches.
