Pros: How smooth the keys move.
Perfect response timing.
Matches the rest of my setup now.
Cons: Would like to see more effects in the rgb software, but it has quite a few good ones already.
Overall Review: Wanted a smooth, responsive, comfortable keyboard that can handle everything I play. This keyboard rocks. I took a chance on the price thinking I was spending too much on a keyboard, but in the end I feel this is priced just right. It's so good, my wife wanted one as well.
This combined with my mouse and headset from the same company tells me they game as well as design devices for gamers.
Pros: -Love how much quieter the keys are than a traditional mechanical keyboard
-Steel Series Engine (software) is easy to navigate & program lighting on the keyboard
Cons: -not really sure what the purpose of the "display" is in the top right corner, would have preferred media controls instead (Play/Pause, Skip, etc)
Overall Review: -Love the keyboard so far, been using it with my new system for about a week
Overall Review: Boomer gamer/Game designer I've owned quite a few keyboards over the years and this tops them all. Read any review they'll say the same. Pull the trigger, you won't regret it!
Overall Review: This is my second higher end gaming keyboard and its probably the only im ever getting again. The switches feel smooth and durable and the OLED screen is functional and when you get the software installed the amount of uses and functions it has is incredible.100/10 would recommend for anybody looking for a new keyboard in this higher end price range.
Overall Review: Would definitely buy again, best Keyboard I ever had
Pros: I am very pleased with this keyboard, software, and UI are superb. The Red keys are extremely sensitive. This is great but also a pain for me. I used a really old keyboard from Razer and it was not mechanical. So getting used to resting my fingers on the keys I have accidentally pressed them several times without even meaning to. Not a problem, just something I will have to get used to.
Overall Review: Overall I am very impressed with this Keyboard. Would have liked to have had more time to delve into more features and all but I had a vacation planned. From my few days of use before I left the keyboard was easy to set up. (I already had Steelseries engine software installed because I have a headset from them already I am quite happy with. Hence one of the reasons I wanted to try their keyboard and mouse). Worth every penny In my Opinion. Hope this review helps.
Overall Review: I would definitely purchase this item again. Everything about the keyboard feels and looks
premium. The keys feel good. Just everything about it is great. I would say the only thing I don't like is the magnets seem like over time they will dig into the paint a bit. (Have already started to a bit.) Maybe a light coating of rubber or something could be a way to improve that? Overall I love my new keyboard and I think you will love it too. Oh yeah tons of options with the steelseries engine. You can draw.. whatever you want on the OLED Smart Display. Yup.. whatever you want. Probably more than that as well but I haven't really messed with that part that much.
Overall Review: Will have to start with a partial negative:
The typical mechanical feel of a Corsair K70 (cherry mx red) or a Steelseries 6Gv2 is not there, but on the plus side, the feel is quite nice in its own right and its definitely more quiet.
While the keys do have springs, the actuation is actually magnetic-sensor based, so this would make it an electronic keyboard more than a mechanical keyboard, but this presents a huge advantage over other keyboards because:
1. The absence of a physical actuation makes the keys last longer than anything else.
2. The magnetic sensors allow for a precise adjustment of the sensitivity of each key, and this is huge for both typing and gaming.
3. The electronic nature of the switches makes it possible to remap every single key natively inside the keyboard software, and this is also an excellent feature.
4. The adjustments and customization possible are beyond anything else on the market.
The sensitivity adjustment of the keys makes a huge difference in the ways you can customize this keyboard to fit your personal style and correct your personal mistakes in both typing and gaming.
With some small adjustments, gone are the most common repeated typos i was making and the unwanted actions that i triggered in games.
The free remapping of each key is flawless and quite useful for a gamer.
Depending on your specific hardware you might experience frustrating issues with this keyboard at first, i know i did.
The customization i made was becoming inoperative randomly, the keys were not responding at all (after a new customization save), and i had to restart PC to make things work again, very frustrating, especially for an item of this price.
Online search showed several people having these problems, but luckily online search also provided solutions for my problems, namely dont allow windows to turn off the keyboard for power saving, and change the USB slot the keyboard is plugged in.
This solved the problems for me and everything been working fine for two weeks now.
There are also other interesting features done very well, like the binding of the combo keys (m1-m6) to the "tenkey area", instead of adding the awkward keys on the left.
The best and most unintrusive display ive seen, it can easily pass as an illuminated logo.
The audio volume adjustment wheel is there and even has an extra function when you press-click on it.
All in all, i could say this is the best keyboard i ever used for both gaming and typing.
Very expensive, but unlike other expensive "gaming" stuff on the market, i can say this one was really worth the price and delivered it's gaming features.
