Microsemi’s PD-9001GR/SP is a single port, high-power solution for remote powering of current and emerging high power applications. Adding Power over Ethernet capability to your network, it allows 802.11ac Access Points, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras and video-phones to receive power, along with data, over standard Ethernet cables. Generating up to 30W of power, the PD-9001GR/SP complies with IEEE 802.3at PoE standard and is backward compatible with IEEE802.3af. It also provides Surge Protection functionality, optimal for the installation of outdoor PDs (Powered Devices). With the midspan's Plug-and-Play installation, it easily integrates into network while leaving existing network infrastructure unaltered.
