Separate subscription, you no longer have to buy xbox live gold to watch hulu or netflix just become a free xbox online member.

Go to techbargains dot com and search on xbox.  You can find it for $35,99 sometimes.

what is the difference between the two xbox live gold memberships that I have in my cart? One is 39 and one is 59???I can't see the difference

There is no difference other then the price.  A 12 month XBox Gold Membership covers 12 months no matter the price.  If you already have a Gold Membership the 12 months you purchase, at either price, will be added to your existing membership (example: current membership expires Feb 2014.  Adding the new 12 month Gold in December will have your membership expire in Feb 2015).
