is this the best mouse for the price?

I've had one for several years, wearing out the rubber on the wheel but still keeping it because it fits my hand so well. Bought a Logitech for my other laptop and within 4 months the wheel has become "freewheeling" and it's not exactly balanced so that when I use it to scroll on the page it may or may not decide to move on its own when I take my finger off from it....aggravating!! I'll be replacing it with another MS 4000!!
