Yes and no. Some people run FSX on Windows 8.1 without any issues while others have problems. I suggest you do a Google search with something like "FSX on Windows 8.1" in the search box, you'll get a lot of hits with a ton of information on the subject to help you decide if this is the way you want to go. For what it's worth, FSX runs flawlessly on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Good luck.

dose this sim support sli 5720x1080 if not not worth it?

I would suggest reading the information at Microsoft's support site: "support microsoft com+kb+927286".  Nowhere is there a statement regarding actual resolutions supported; it all depends on performance characteristics of memory+video card+machine speeds.
