Is this a single license or 3 license product?

Single license normally but according to this license Microsoft says you can install it on your own (Home or Business PC) and on your Laptop also! But no other computer or a computer belonging to someone else (friend ,family member or someone along that line is a no no).It is not the Home-Student addition that allows up to 3 PC's. I think Microsoft sells a full version that will license 3 different PC's for installation but not this one !

Actually it is the "2 PC/1User" version.  We use it currently on 2 PCs.  We have the 3-pack version but can't find it new any longer.

Comes with 1 disk and one product key that can be installed on a PC and a portable PC. You may purchase more license keys from Microsoft.

We want to stay with Office 32-bit.  If we buy this product and run it under Win-7 64 bit, can we force Office to still run in 32-bit?

Recommend the 32-bit version of Office, because it is more compatible with most other applications, especially third-party add-ins. This is why the 32-bit version of Office 2010 is installed by default, even on 64-bit Windows operating systems. On these systems, the 32-bit Office client is supported as a Windows-32-on-Windows-64 (WOW64) installation.
