Computer came with office preloaded but has now expired.  I have downloaded trial software but need a product key that I can download.  Can this product key be downloaded?

I just bought it.  It actually comes in the box you see.
However, it shipped fast after I ordered the product and I received it within a couple of days.

You should be able to either use it on your installed copy.  Or uninstall it, and download the full copy from Microsoft.  There is a link inside the box.

Does this product run on windows XP?

I installed this on Windows 7 (64 bit). I believe it will run on XP. If the trial will run, then the key will enable a full license.

To be clear, What does "No media" mean on this product?  I am trying to distinguish the difference between this product and the other Office Professional that over $200 more?

I had the same issue/question.  This is delivered by download.  I had no issues with it at all, simply log on to the MS site, pas along the details you receive ion the product card, download the installer and burn it to DVD or CD, and you're done.

how do you Office 2010 Professional Product Key Card (no media) with no media?

Peter - If you already own another copy of Office 2010, you can just use that CD to install the product and then enter the license info from the key card version you are now buying when you get to that screen in the installation process.  The other option is to go to Microsoft's website and download the software and again enter the license info from the keycard you purchased.

bought this office 2010 with my machine from last year but it died and never installed it on my new machine just purchased but it shows out of stock on you key card site. how do I get it installed noe?

Dennis:

The Office key card represents a non-transferrable license to install and activate the suite of applications.  The End User License Agreement will let you know how many PC's you can install this on.  Generally for commercial products it's one, but since you never installed it, all you should need do is download the appropriate software from MS Downloads, and run it from your desktop.  Enter the key on your card when asked, and you should be able to install and activate it with out a problem.

If you have to reload the software with the media card version due to buying a new computer or having to rebuild a computer do you just get to download the software again and use the product key?

Yes, you should be able to download the software from Microsoft (as long as they still support it and offer it). Once downloaded, you should be able to re-enter your same key. If you get an error about too many activations, you can call Microsoft, tell them why you are reinstalling and reactivating Office, and they should not have a problem resetting your activation. If possible, I would save a copy of the downloaded installation file(s) and burn them to DVD or save to external hard drive. That will save you the download time and also guarantee you can reinstall in a few years when Microsoft may suddenly decide to stop offering Office 2010.

How many users does this support?  I need to be able to have 3 users on this.

This copy supports 1 user on 1 PC. In order to have 3 users, you would need to purchase 3 copies or purchase Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student which supports 3 PCs.
