No. The box just comes with a product key. You have to download the software.

The instructions specify the website as the starting point to download and install the software.  Just follow the  instructions.

No disk, but with the Product Key you can download the software and save the download to copy to a disk or USB for use later.

Does this require a subscription fee to use? ie: I don't want to get socked year after year to use my software.

No subscription required.  It is normal office, installed on your computer's hard drive.   However, if you want to use the "cloud" to store files, Microsoft also gives you a year of free could access, that could turn into a "subscription" after the first year, but subscribing and using it are 100% optional.

Can the product key be used to activate MS Office Home and Business 2010 instead?  I want to keep computers in the office on the same version.

Hello,

You would have to order Office 2010 with a 2010 key to use Office 2010 on your computer.  The keys between any office version are not interchangeable.  This key will only work on 2013 Home and Business edition.  On the bright side, 2010 and 2013 work together quite nicely.  I have both 2010 and 2013 in my environment and users are able to exchange files/data easily.

do I get the disk and can I put this on more than 1 computer?

No disk is included. The software is downloaded. The license is for one computer only.

I have a desk top and a lap top. (home)  Can I not use this for both?

No. This is one license for one pc. You might want to consider office365. For less than $10.00 a month you can install office on up to 5 of your devices and a lot more benefits too.

On how many computers can it be installed?

My nephew installed it on my desktop.  He did not install it on my laptop.  At present I do not need it on my laptop.  I am a diehard WordPerfect Suite Professional user.

Question 10

If my system crashes after this product is installed.  Will I be able to re-install this product?  Or will I need a new product key?

You should be able to reuse the key as long as it is for the same computer. If there is a problem go to Microsoft and explain the
problem and they will fix it. I have done this in the past myself.
